On leaving the United States

Wendy MCElroy makes the case, on her blog and elsewhere, that it’s time to GTFO and flee this fascist Mickey Mouse land — Leave The United States If You Can.

If I had a lick of sense, I’d listen to her.

I don’t.

In crisis and desperation, all things are fluid. Make no mistake, we are indeed in a Crisis with a capital “C”. Until that crisis is resolved — one way or another — my place is here.

UPDATE: Digg Wendy’s article here.

  1. The big question becomes “where to move?” Wendy’s part of Ontario may be better than much of the US, but is it that much different? Are certain parts of the US much better than others?

I hope that some secession movements can take hold and some Americans can leave without leaving the current geographic boundaries. There will continue to be many who will live in fear of the Muslim behind every bush, and they can stay under the tyrants. Maybe we should join up with the FSP.

We really have to worry about all the paid killers in foreign lands that are brought back to the US and hired on as cops.

  2. As someone who does speak multiple languages and who is going into International Business, I’m not all that concerned with national borders.

I plan on being perfectly fluid between places without concern for stationary states. My main concern is international police like the CIA, the FBI, and Interpol.
