Media still using kid gloves on Bush admin

It just sickens me to see the ways that the establishment media tries to soft-pedal the most horrible things for their political buddies sake. Check the article linked and quoted below. Some spineless editor gave it a headline about “abuse”. The reporter who wrote the story said “torture”, though.

Detainees Abused in N. Iraq, Army Papers Suggest

Guards and military intelligence personnel allegedly tortured detainees at a U.S. Army holding facility in northern Iraq in late 2003, according to Army criminal investigative documents released yesterday.

And, also in the headline, what’s with that “Papers Suggest” crap? Those documents were prepared by US Army criminal investigators. If the story were about an individual unaffiliated with government, the headline might not even have the part after the comma. As it is, “Army Investigators Allege” would do fine. But NO — we get “Army Papers Suggest”.

Who wrote that headline — Jenna-Freakin’-Bush???
