If you want to get a sense of the depth of public opposition to the Dubai Ports World deal, watch these video clips [1, 2, 3, 4] from Cafferty on CNN yesterday. The Republican base is calling for impeachment amidst much wailing and gnashing of teeth. We’ve got senior citizens in tears and right-wingers using words like “treasonous” to describe the Bush administration.
People are furious about this. I’ll repeat again my own call for non-violent revolutionary community seizure of the ports.
