Olbermann: GOP Fearmongering

My assessment of Keith Olbermann? His special commentaries in defiance of the Bush administration are nothing short of heroic. You don’t see this kind of passion for liberty and justice anywhere else on television these days. Send letters of support to: Countdown@MSNBC.com, Viewerservices@MSNBC.com and Feedback@MSNBC.com

  1. “You don’t see this kind of passion for liberty and justice anywhere else on television these days.”

Too bad he is a statist through and through. He’s just another statist democrat opposing whatever the current administration is up to. If this were Clinton’s war, you wouldn’t hear a peep out of him (BTW, Clinton enacted anti-terrorism laws as well after the OKC Bombings; don’t think he wouldn’t have enacted similar laws).

How many critics of the preident’s policies would be saying the same thing if a Democrat were in power? Very Very few; probably limited to libertarians, paleocons, and pacifists.

  2. The last words, where probably the most impacting. Seriously, the next pres, under the current prez’s dictates, could jail him and remove his rights from him for a fair trial.

Wouldn’t life only be so just.

But regardless… it’s all more apathy toward the leaders o’ this nation and their furthered desecration of the founding ideals.
